First Delta Credit Union of Marks, Mississippi officially merged with Shreveport Federal Credit Union on December 31, 2010.
The new Shreveport Federal Credit Union members will experience no interruption in service. However, there will be changes in the use of personal checks and debit cards, see the full details below:
Personal Checks - Personal checks currently being used, issued through First Delta, will be valid through the date ofMarch 31, 2011, 90 days after the official merger. After this date, personal checks issued through First Delta will no longer be valid for any business transactions. First Delta checks MUST be replaced and reissued through Shreveport Federal Credit Union for future business transactions.
Debit Cards - As of December 31, 2010, all debit cards issued through First Delta will become “invalid”.

The Kirby Kangaroo Club
This club helps children age 12 and under to better understand financial institutions, as well as develop good savings habits. There is no charge or fee for your child to become a member of the Kirby Kangaroo Club. Your child will immediately receive a Kirby Kangaroo membership card, a savings passbook and a quarter saver as our gift, when they join the club. Our goal is to show children, in a positive way, how important it is to save.
